About Calming Blooms

Meet Kristin
Board Certified Behavior Analyst • Parent Coach
I support families navigating everyday behavior challenges, routines, big feelings, and sleep by looking at the whole picture — expectations, environment, communication, patterns, and what’s realistic for your family.
My approach is compassionate, practical, and grounded in behavioral science, so parents can feel supported without pressure or judgment.
My own experience as a parent taught me quickly that challenges rarely happen in isolation. When my daughter was little, sleep was one of the first areas that left me feeling exhausted and overwhelmed. But I realized that focusing on sleep alone wasn’t enough. Routines, behavior, regulation, and the way our days fit together all mattered.
That experience shaped how I work with families today: instead of looking at one behavior or one routine in isolation, I help parents step back, understand what may be contributing, and build strategies that actually fit real life.
I’m a wife, mom, and BCBA, and I understand how overwhelming parenting can feel when routines unravel, behavior feels unpredictable, or you’re simply not sure what to try next.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out. We can start with what feels hardest and take it one step at a time.
My Philosophy
At Calming Blooms, I believe behavior makes more sense when we look at the whole picture — routines, expectations, communication, environment, sleep, and the patterns happening throughout the day.
My goal isn’t to hand families a rigid plan or tell them to simply “be more consistent.” I want to help you understand what may be contributing to the hard moments, then build practical strategies that actually fit your family and your everyday life.
I value compassionate, individualized support that is grounded in behavioral science without feeling clinical or judgmental. Progress doesn’t have to mean perfection. Sometimes it looks like smoother transitions, fewer battles, more predictable routines, or simply feeling more confident in how you respond.
Whether we’re working on behavior, routines, sleep, or a combination of these, the goal is the same: helping your family feel more supported, connected, and equipped for the everyday hard stuff.
